T20 series with World XI will start in Lahore from September 10, cricketer Paul Collingwood will be part of it

Paul Collingwood a former England skipper has been most probably chosen for the World XI team, and has been scheduled to travel Pakistan this September.

He is lined as a English representative for a World XI followed by a Coach Andy Flower, will be playing three match series in Pakistan in September 2017 as the International Cricket Council brings top-level cricket back to the country,” quoted The Guardian.

Najam Sethi, (PCB) Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, announced on Monday, a three match T20 series with World XI will start in Lahore from September 10. 

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi informed while addressing personnel media, that 7 countries will participate including 15 players in the tournament. 

“Players from England, New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe have already agreed to play the World XI tournament in Pakistan. Yet, India has refused to send its players to Pakistan,” Sethi added.
