SMS-Chrome integration is soon going to be launched on Android Oreo 8.1

Finally SMS lover’s dream is soon going to be fulfilled. The long awaited feature   Android 8.1 Oreo to launch SMS chrome integration.

The stable version is just few weeks away now. The latest Android 8.1 developer preview is already available. There will be lots of latest features in the coming up version. Chrome-SMS integration will be one of the most interesting features. It will be called as “SMS Connect”. The users will be able to synchronize their SMS messages from Chromebook.

In the beginning the feature will be available for Chromebooks, but soon in near future it makes way to Chrome browser for Windows and Mac. The latest feature is user friendly and the user won’t need to pick the phone several times in order to reply to messages while busy working on PC

Beside SMS Chrome integration whats new

Yes Feedswallet readers the new update will enable Pixel Visul Core on Pixel devices. It is discrete, custom image processor available in Google pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. This is first time in history where custome designed co processor for consumer products and it is designed to deliver lower latency and even more power efficient HDR processing. It not the only Google Pixel main camera but the other cameras apps will also be taking the advantage of the new Google’s new HDR+ image processing technology.

The new chip will work without help of the main Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and it includes a single Cortex-A53 CPU core, 8image Processing Unit or IPU cores and LPDDR4 memory. Its specification has no link with the Snapdragon 835 as it is totally on its own. The only issue was the chip was not yet enable, and the new Android 8.1 update will be enabling it.

Google said once the chip get enables, the image processing will get enchance by 5x and it will take 1/10th of power as compared to Snapdragon 835.

The latest update also consist Android Go optimizations. It is basically targeted towards device with 1GB or less Ram. The giant tech company Google is making its operating system efficient for ultra low end devices as well as now the manufacturers will be able to design the devices with less than 1GB Ram now.
