QS graduate employability 2018, ranked LUMS among the top 50 universities all over Asia

According to press release, updated new ranking lists of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018 University names are declared and fortunately Pakistan top renowned universities have successfully marked among them. Yes readers, The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has ranked among the top 50 universities in Asia and also among the top 250 universities globally.

Yet this is another historic accomplishment for LUMS being part of regional and international rankings, where 495 universities participated from across 65 countries. And this was due to the participation in the said categories: Alumni Outcome of 39.5 with an overall score of 32.3-37.9, Student – Employer links of 63.9, Graduate Employability rate of 94.3, Employer Reputation 29.1.

The current QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018 will be helpful in providing significant insight in our upcoming youths and help them to obtain a successful employment soon after their graduation ends.

Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, Vice Chancellor, LUMS, congratulated the LUMS community on this achievement, on this event he stated, “Brilliant students, a fantastic, creative and learning environment, challenging and innovative curriculum, developed with the leadership and support of all stakeholders, which followed by a world-class faculty, all combine to create LUMS graduates who proudly cherish such global acknowledgment.”

The current ranking is a token of appreciation of the stewardship and efforts made over several decades, which was due to keen focus in research, business and social development responsibility and academics. Yet LUMS never rely on its success, instead it keeps moving forward with commitment towards attaining greater heights in order to maintain quality.
