Nokia 8 appears on official website ahead of announcement

Today Nokia’s Chinese official website put up a promotional image for the yet-unannounced smartphone Nokia 8. Thus we believe this was a webmaster’s mistake, since HMD still hasn’t unveiled the Nokia 8.The smartphone phone was removed from the website but according to rumors, Nokia 8 is releasing tomorrow. Nokia 8 release date and price were leaked few days back. Well today’s appearance confirms the leaked renders as well.

According to the previous leaks and rumors stated Nokia 8 will launch with a 5.3-inch QHD display. It will feature a latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The GPU would be Adreno 540, with internal storage of 64GB and 6 GB RAM. Some leaks suggest that there could be an 8GB RAM version as well.

Dual 13MP primary camera with Zeiss optics and a 12 MP front camera. The unibody aluminum chassis body will accompany with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The phone imcludes USB Type-C connector.

The expected price of Nokia 8 is $675.
