The new Apple Watch will come with a new design. The design has not been changed since the launch of the Apple Watch. According to the reports, the new watch will have an “all-new form factor” which could be slimmer and better looking. This is not it, Apple has decided to make the next Apple Watch “iPhone free”. Yes, the Watch will have a built in LTE which will allow users network connectivity directly. Until now, the watch performs its tasks via iPhone i.e. receiving notifications and dial ups.
The new Apple Watch includes built in network connectivity which allows the watch to operate independently for most of the tasks. For example users will be able to download songs as well make internet calls without worrying of iPhone to be in a specific range. But for some feature Watch may still need iPhone connection. It might effect battery life due to Built in network connectivity, and the giant tech company should need to work on the increase of the battery capacity. The LTE modem of the watch is reported to be made by Intel.
The Apple Watch might possibly launch in 2 versions, similar to iPad. It will be upto the users choice whether to get the Watch with or without LTE connectivity. Of coure there would be little extra charges for the LTE option.
Apple might release the new watch along with Apple iPhone 8, reportedly by the end of the year.
